Since the introduction of the da Vinci Surgical System in 1999, da Vinci Surgery has been used successfully in tens of thousands of procedures. Its safety and efficacy have been documented in thousands of clinical publications. The literature supporting the use of da Vinci Surgery is extensive, covering all surgical specialties where it is used.
