Symptoms of Lung Cancer
Early lung cancer may not cause any symptoms, but may be found on a routine X-ray. If symptoms are present or as the cancer grows, the following may be experienced.4
- Cough that gets worse or does not go away
- Breathing trouble, such as shortness of breath
- Constant chest pain
- Coughing up blood
- Hoarse voice
- Frequent lung infections, such as pneumonia
- Feeling very tired all the time
- Unexplained weight loss
These symptoms are usually not due to cancer. Other health problems can cause some of these symptoms. That’s why it’s important to see a doctor to be diagnosed and treated as early as possible.
