da Vinci vs. Open vs. Laparoscopy

The following table looks at patient results after surgery for prostate cancer (radical prostatectomy). It compares "best in class" data from three types of surgery. As you can see, da Vinci Prostatectomy (dVP) shows clear advantages compared to open surgery with a large incision, and conventional minimally invasive laparoscopic (lap) surgery.
